MOVE OVER SUGARY SPORTS DRINKS!

Please throw away those sugar-filled sports drinks and replace them with this easy-to-make, homemade electrolyte drink that not only tastes better but is way better for you!

Whether you’re training hard, spending all day out in the heat, feeling under the weather, or down with the flu, this homemade electrolyte drink is the perfect solution to help the body stay hydrated.

I've been sipping on this over the past 2 days to help recover and keep my body hydrated after getting my 2nd Covid vaccine shot (yay done, let's bring on the socializing!).

This homemade electrolyte drink is packed with electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals.

🥥 Coconut water is often referred to as “nature’s Gatorade". It contains a variety of electrolytes including sodium, potassium, and magnesium.

🍋 Citrus fruits are a good source of vitamin C, enzymes, and electrolytes, including calcium and potassium.

🍊Today I'm also adding in some buffered vitamin C powder to help really support my adrenals and immune.   I like these 2 brands if you are looking for one.

🧂Unprocessed mineral or sea salt contains 15% trace minerals, which means it contains sodium and a variety of other minerals we need to keep hydrated.

Together, these ingredients make an incredibly tasty and effective homemade electrolyte drink that can supply the body with a concentrated source of the nutrients it needs. The best part is, it tastes goods! My kids love it too!

FYI – Another great thing to sip on if you are dehydrated or unwell is BONE BROTH!  So full of nutrients, electrolytes, and amino acids.
